About Us

ERSAF is a non-profit public trust established by accomplished professionals and industry experts from the energy and allied sectors.

The Foundation works to advance clean and sustainable energy systems through research, consulting, field programmes, and development initiatives that complement the efforts of academic institutions, government bodies, and civil society organisations.

Our focus spans power generation, renewable technologies, industrial systems, climate change, environmental protection, and community-linked energy use.

Our Vision

To foster and advance energy research that improves living conditions while protecting ecosystems for present and future generations.

Our Mission

To expand knowledge on sustainable energy systems, responsible resource use, and waste management in order to promote environmental conservation and reduce dependence on fossil fuels.

What We Aim To Do

ERSAF’s objectives guide its research, programmes, and public-interest initiatives.

Advance Energy Research

Conduct multidisciplinary research on energy applications, conservation practices, and emerging technologies across renewable and conventional systems, including solar, wind, tidal, ocean thermal, nuclear, and cleaner fossil-fuel utilisation.

Industrial Transition & Clean Technologies

Support development and demonstration of technologies such as coal beneficiation, gasification, coal-bed methane recovery, and low-emission industrial processes.

Promote collaborative innovation, technology commercialisation, and knowledge transfer with industry and research partners.

Awareness, Training & Capacity Building

Organise workshops, seminars, and outreach programmes to raise awareness about energy conservation in rural and urban communities.

Provide education and technical training opportunities for underserved populations, promoting inclusive participation in the energy transition.

Rural & Community Development

Design and implement programmes supporting village development, energy access, livelihoods, and local infrastructure.

Disseminate knowledge through training centres, educational institutions, libraries, laboratories, and learning facilities focused on sustainable energy practices.
