To organize, sponsor, establish, promote and conduct research in any way or by any means whatsoever for extension of nowledge in the field of energy application, its usage, its conservation and services thereof.
To undertake and to conduct wide ranging research and application of non-depleting and non polluting sources of energy (included but not limited to Solar energy, Wind energy, Tidal energy, Thermal energy, of the oceans, Nuclear energy) and research and development and application of techniques aimed at achieving fuller and less polluting utilization of fossil fuels.
To undertake collaborative technology development and commercialization and to promote new product / processes and concepts such as deep benefaction of Coal, pressurized fluidized coal gasification and coal bed methane.
To arrange workshops, seminars and campaigns to enhance awareness of conservation of depleting resources of energy in rural and urban areas.
To provide schemes for dwelling places along with messing arrangements for the needy and deprived, irrespective of any caste, creed or religion. To impart education and technical knowledge to jobless, illiterates, and needy persons and their dependents irrespective of caste or religion .
Village and rural advancement; by developing various programs and projects, arranging sponsorships / subsidies, and contribute to the development of rural India in every possible manner to possible manner. To disseminate knowledge, provide training in the aforesaid fields and maintain schools, college chairs, lectureships, auditoriums, libraries, museums, studios, workshops, and other Equipments. |
